I don’t return much to Amazon (and I buy a lot from them) but I couldn’t wait to send this cheap, guady hunk of junk back. I should have paid better attention to the other reviews. It doesn’t take close inspection to see that the face is plastic and I never did figure out the band. Major disappointment. I wouldn’t wear it to a dogfight. (I don’t believe in dogfights but the analogy fits!)

Comfortable watch. As one other customer commented, not the most impressive face. From the maker ,I was expecting a richer look as with other SLs I own. But….I bought it even though I read that comment and I like the watch. I often wonder though…..”$695.00″ retail? Where do those retail prices come from anyway….? I really doubt someone would shell out the “retail” prices advertised by most vendors….and doubt the figures even more.

I got this watch for Christmas, and it was big and heavy. I’m a 6 foot tall guy with huge arms and this thing still looked big on me. I still like it though.. I had a little trouble with setting it up the first time coz the instructions are a little vague.. In all a good watch for the money.

I have the brown version and just ordered the blue. While this is not a top quality watch, it does contain a Swiss movement and is excellent value for the money (I paid much more for my brown version). The example I have owned for the last couple of months is the most comfortable to wear of any of my watches. This is a BIG, clunky, chunky, heavy watch. The only fault I have is with the face. On close inspection it looks a bit cheesy… It is obviously plastic, especially the angled “frame” at the outside edges of the face on which the white numbers have been tampo printed. On the face, the “chrome” rings around the small dials appear to be nothing more than plated risings on the face, meaning the dials are not separate components. The watch is easy to read though. None of the paperwork that came with my brown watch tells where it was assembled… just because the movement is Swiss does not mean the watch is Swiss. Overall I like the design and would consider owning it in all available color variations.
